Placebo publicará el próximo 27 de septiembre una nueva ‘reedición’ de su álbum ‘Battle  of the Sun‘ incluyendo contenidos especiales e inéditos. Lo han llamado  ‘BATTLE FOR THE SUN : REDUX EDITION‘ y esto será lo que incluya la caja:

- Una exclusiva camiseta diseñada por Placebo y ATTICUS

- El CD original de 13 temas de ‘Battle For The Sun’

Placeboworld ha publicado el tracklist con los temas en directo que formarán parte de la edición Deluxe Box Set de Battle for the sun. Esta edición contenía un disco en blanco en el que grabar material que sería publicado posteriormente. Tras un año del lanzamiento oficial del álbum, Placebo han realizado grabaciones en diferentes shows de su gira mundial de 2009 y 2010 y lo pondrán a disposición de los fans que tengan esta edición.

Placeboworld has revealed the tracklist of the bonus Live recordings that will be available to the owners of the “Battle for the Sun” Deluxe Box Set. This edition includes a blank disc in which you can burn tracks that will be available in the next days. Placebo picked out these tracks which are taken from their world tour throughout 2009 and 2010.

I own a “Battle for the Sun” Deluxe Box Set. How do I get these tracks?

If you purchased your box set via the placeboworld online store then we will contact you automatically, so you don’t have to do anything until you receive a message from placeboworld with the details on how to get your tracks.

If however, you purchased one from your local record store, then you will need to register your email and box set via this link. You will be asked are some questions about the box set, so you will need to make sure you have it close by when you register.

El 3º single de ‘Battle for the Sun’, ‘Brights Lights’, saldrá solamente en edición de descarga digital, y estará disponible a partir del día 8 de febrero.

Placebo han confirmado que su próximo single será Bright Lights y que saldrá a finales de enero de 2010. La canción tendrá nuevos arreglos y nuevas voces en los coros, si tienes la suerte de verles tocando en la gira de invierno, podrás escuchar esta nueva versión de la canción con los nuevos arreglos. También habrá un video para el nuevo single.

Placebo has confirmed that their new single will be Bright Lights and it will be out in late January 2010. This song will have new arrangements and new backing vocals, and if you are lucky enough to see them playing in their winter tour you will get to listen this new version with the new arrangements. There will be also a new video for the single.

Al finalizar la gira europea de invierno, la gente que compró la caja Deluxe Box Set de la edición limitada del álbum, tendrá acceso a las descargas en diercto de temas de la gira que el grupo habrá elegido y preparado para descargar.

Si compraste la caja a través de la tienda online de Placebo, Placeboworld contactará contigo automaticamente una vez estén listas las descargas, así que lo único que tienes que hacer es esperar. After the European winter tour, people who purchased the Deluxe Box Set will have access to the ‘Live Track Downloads’, that the band will have choosen from the tour and prepare for download.

If you are one of those who purchased the box set via the Placebo online store you will be contacted automatically once the tracks are ready, so all you have to do is wait till Placeboworld contact you. However, if you purcahsed it from any local store, you will need to register your eamil and box set. Placebo presentará en premiere exclusiva los vídeos de sus dos próximos singles, “The Never-Ending Why” y “Ashtray Heart”, junto a Sony Playstation y VIDZONE para PS3 Y PSP.

Los fans de Reino Unido podrán ver la premiere de “The Never-Ending Why” el próximo miércoles 19 de agosto a las 2pm (GMT / BST). El vídeo de “The Never-Ending Why” ha sido dirigido por Champagne Valentine y según placeboworld es una narración semisurrealista que mezcla el estilo asiático de animación de marionetas con diseño 3D saturado de color.

Los fans de España, Australia, Alemania, Italia y Francia podrán ver el estreno de “Ashtray Heart” el próximo miércoles 19 de agosto a las 2pm (GMT / BST). El vídeo de “Ashtray Heart” dirigido por Robert Chandler es, según placeboworld, un caleidoscópico y efervescente vídeo que contiene las técnicas más novedosas de data-moshing que dan un espectacular resultado.

Placebo, with Sony Playstation and VIDZONE for PS3 and PSP (Via Remote Play), will be doing an exclusive premiere of the videos for their new singles ‘The Never-Ending Why’ and ‘Ashtray Heart’.

UK fans can watch the premiere of  “The Never-Ending Why” on Wednesday 19th August at 2pm (GMT / BST). This video has been directed by Champagne Valentine, and according to Placeboworld: ‘is a based around a semi-surreal narrative mixing Asian styled puppet animation with hyper coloured 3D design’.

Australia, France, Germany, Italy & Spain fans can watch the premiere of ‘Ashtray Heart’ on Wednesday 19th August at 2pm (GMT / BST). This other video has been directed by Robert Chandler, and according to Placeboworld: ‘the kaleidoscopic and effervescent video contains state-of-the-art data-moshing techniques that combine to produce spectacular results! ‘.

Both videos will be available to watch on Placeboworld at 2pm (GMT) this Friday 21st August.
