Según la revista inglesa NME, Placebo han anunciado que su nuevo album saldrá finalmente en Junio del 2009, y que aun no tienen título. Como ya dijeron el album ha sido producido por David Bottrill, y que por fin han firmado ya con un nuevo sello, PIAS.
Según comenta Brian, han tenido muchos sellos grandes interesados en Placebo, lo que significa mucho para ellos, y sienten que tienen el sello adecuado para Europa en estos tiempos de cambios, para continuar la loca aventura de escalar incluso alturas más vertiginosas con su nuevo álbum.
