Placebo @ XBOX LIVE’s Xtival 09

Placebo formará parte de este festival virtual online organizado por XBOX LIVE y Kerrang Magazine, de música, juegos y películas, que tendrá lugar el fin de semana del 1 al 4 de mayo.
El escenario estará encabezado por Placebo que ofrecerá una actuación exclusiva de ‘Battle for the Sun’ para todos los usuarios que se conecten en XBOX LIVE durante el fin de semana del festival Xtival 09, además de una entrevista exclusiva. Más información aquí.

Placebo will take part of this virtual online festival organized by XBOX LIVE and Kerrang Magazine, of music, game and film, that will take place on the weekend from May 1st to May 4th.
Placebo will headline the stage, who will offer an exclusive live performance of ‘ Battle of the Sun’ for all users that log onto XBOX LIVE during the Xtival 09 weekend, besides an exclusive interview. More info here.

Ya ya se ha publicado el vídeo del próximo single de Placebo, “For What It’s Worth” en el myspace oficial del grupo.

The new Placebo’s video from the upcoming single, “For what It’s Worh” is already available at their myspace. The single’s cover has been also revealed .

Por fin nos llega el primer single sacado de ‘Battle for the Sun’, será ‘For What It’s Worth’ y lo podremos escuchar por primera vez el lunes 20 de abril alrededor de las 7.00 pm -hora inglesa, 20.00 h en España- en el programa de radio de Zane Lowe de la Radio 1 inglesa.
La canción podrá descargarse a través de iTunes al día siguiente, martes 21 de abril, y según el myspace oficial en tantos países como sea posible, de momento serán UK, Belgium, Ireland, Italy y Netherlands y posiblemente añadan más. El nuevo vídeo se podrá ver en el myspace oficial también a partir del martes 21 de abril.
El single saldrá oficialmente el 1 de Junio en 7”, CD, y descarga digital, con una versión como cara B, que será el clásico “Wouldn’t It Be Good” de Nick Kershaw.

At last comes to us the first single taken from ‘Battle for the Sun’, it will be ‘For What It’s Worth’, and we will be able to listen to it for the first time on Monday 20th April around 7.00 pm on Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show.
The song will be available to download through iTunes the next morning, on Tuesday 21st April, and according to the official myspace in as many countries as possible, for now it will be in UK, Belgium, Ireland, Italy & Netherlands, and possibly even more. The new video will be on the official myspace from tuesday 21 April too.
The single will be realised officialy on June 1st also on 7”, CD and Digital Download, featuring a cover of Nick Kershaw’s classic, “Wouldn’t It Be Good” as the B-side.

Los fans de Placebo japoneses ya han podido disfrutar de este nuevo tema que estará incluido en el próximo álbum de Placebo, y podrán seguir haciéndolo en los créditos finales de la serie ‘The Sekai Gyoten News’ emitido de 21.00 a 21.54 h, donde se pondrá ‘Ashtray Heart’ cada miércoles desde el 8 de Abril hasta finales de Junio. También podrán, solamente en Japón, descargar el tema para sus móviles a traves de “Reco choku” .

Placeboworld ha anunciado los tres primeros conciertos de Placebo en 2009. Darán tres conciertos íntimos en Reino Unido antes de sus actuaciones en los festivales de verano. Las entradas estarán disponibles para preventa www.gigsandtours.com desde las 9AM del lunes 6 de abril. La venta general de entradas será el miércoles 8 de abril a partir de las 9AM (hora británica). La cantidad de entradas por venta está limitada a 4.
Placebo have announced at placeboworld.co.uk their first three shows of 2009. They will play three intimate UK shows before their summer festival appearances. Pre-sale tickets will be available at www.gigsandtours.com from 9am on Monday 6th April. Tickets go on general sale from 9am on Wednesday 8th April. Tickets are limited at 4 tickets per sale.
