Durante los conciertos de la gira de invierno de 2009, no verás solamente el fantástico concierto que ofrecerá Placebo y sus teloneros, si no que además tendrás la oportunidad de ver un Festival de Cortos que se proyectará antes del concierto y durante las salidas que haga el grupo del escenario en la pantalla principal de éste.

El Festival ShortsTV, comenzará en el concierto de Paris del 24 de Octubre, presentando el trabajo de 8 directores internacionales de gran talento, los cuales han sido seleccionados por Placebo. Estas películas pueden ser cortas en duración pero impactantes.

Presentados por ShortsTV, un canal de cortos, y Livewire Televisual, especialistas en videos de música en directo y TV, los 8 cortos competirán entre ellos y los fans de toda Europa estarán invitados a votar online, a su favorito, en la página oficial de Placebo en las próximas semanas. El ganador será anunciado al final de la gira.

During the Winter tour dates of 2009 you will not only be able to watch the incredible show by Placebo and supports, but will also get the chance to see a Short Film Festival that will be screened before the gig and during the artist changeovers on the mainstage screens.

The ShortsTV Film Festival, launches at the Paris show on 24th October, features the work of 8 highly talented international film makers, for which Placebo themselves shortlisted. These movies may be short in length but they’ll be big on impact.

Presented by ShortsTV, the short film channel, and Livewire Televisual, the live music video and TV specialist, the 8 short movies will be competing with one another and fans from across Europe will be invited to vote online for their favourite at Placebo’s website in the coming weeks. The winner will be announced at the end of the tour.
