Placebo anuncian un concierto especial en Londres para celebrar el lanzamiento de la edición Redux de ‘Battle for the Sun’. Tendrá lugar el próximo lunes 27 de septiembre en el O2 Brixton Academy de Londres.

Habrá una preventa de entradas especial para fans el Miércoles 4 de agosto a las 9AM (hora inglesa) ,  permaneced atentos a placeboworld para esta preventa especial . La venta de entradas general  será a partir de las 9 de la mañana (hora inglesa) el viernes 6 de agosto

Placebo announce an special show in London to celebrate the realease of ‘Battle for the Sun’ Redux Edition album. It will take place next Monday September 27th 2010 at London O2 Brixton Academy.

A special fan pre-sale will take place from 9am on Wednesday August 4th with tickets going on general sale at 9am on Friday August 6th, stay tuned to placeboworld for details of the links to the pre-sale!

Placebo tocarán finalmente en un sitio más grande en su concierto en Barcelona debido a la gran cantidad de entradas vendidas, pasan de la sala Razzmatazz al Sant Jordi Club. Las entradas ya vendidas servirán igualmente.

Placebo changes venue in Barcelona, to a bigger one, due to the great demand of tickets. They will play finally at Sant Jordi Club , on 22nd of June, instead of Razzmatazz Club. People who have already acquired their tickets don’t need to change them.

Placebo por fin regresan a Portugal, estarán tocando el día 16 de Julio en el  Marés Vivas Festival en Vila Nova de Gaia al lado de Oporto. Encontraréis toda la información sobre las entradas y demás en la web del festival.

Finally Placebo will be coming back to Portugal to play at Marés Vivas Festival on 16th of July, in Vila Nova de Gaia near Porto. All ticket and festival info will be available at the festival web site.

Ya está confirmada la fecha de Placebo en Santiago de Chile, será el 8 de abril en el Movistar Arena. Las entradas ya están a la venta en feriaticket. También está confirmada una fecha en Perú por la productora Kandavu que organiza el concierto, tocarán en Lima en la Explanada Sur del Estadio Monumental el 20 de abril, la entradas salen mañana a la venta, más información en la página de la productora.

It’s confirmed, Placebo will be playing in  Santiago de Chile the 8th of April at Movistar Arena. Tickets are already available at feriaticket. Varios medios chilenos han confirmado que Placebo estarán actuando en el Movistar Arena de Santiago de Chile el sábado 10 de Abril, la fecha aun no está confirmada oficialmente por Placeboworld, pero por la amplitud de medios que lo han confirmado parece bastante fiable. According to serveral Chilean media Placebo has confirmed their presence at Movistar Arena in Santiago de Chile for the next 10th April, this tour date is not yet confirmed by Placeboworld, but due to the wide range of media confirming it, it seems quite probable to be true. In any case, as soon as Placeboworld confirms it, we will publish it here, in Bionic.

Al finalizar la gira europea de invierno, la gente que compró la caja Deluxe Box Set de la edición limitada del álbum, tendrá acceso a las descargas en diercto de temas de la gira que el grupo habrá elegido y preparado para descargar.

Si compraste la caja a través de la tienda online de Placebo, Placeboworld contactará contigo automaticamente una vez estén listas las descargas, así que lo único que tienes que hacer es esperar. Sin embargo, si compraste la caja en tu tienda local necesitarás registrar la caja y tu email. Para registrarla sólo tienes que entrar en Placeboworld y seguir las instrucciones, durante el registro tendrás que dar algunos datos de tu caja, así que asegúrate de tenerla a mano.

Estos temas en directo son solamente para la gente que compró la la caja Deluxe Box Set de la edición limitada de ‘Battle for the Sun’, no se podrán conseguir de ninguna otra manera. Por favor no compartas los datos que te serán requeridos al resgistrarla con nadie más.

After the European winter tour, people who purchased the Deluxe Box Set will have access to the ‘Live Track Downloads’, that the band will have choosen from the tour and prepare for download.

If you are one of those who purchased the box set via the Placebo online store you will be contacted automatically once the tracks are ready, so all you have to do is wait till Placeboworld contact you. However, if you purcahsed it from any local store, you will need to register your eamil and box set. To do this, enter Placeboworld and follow the steps, you will have to enter some informarion about your box set while you register it, so be sure you have it with you.

These ‘Live Tracks Downloads’ will be only available to the people who purchased ‘Batttle for the Sun’ Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set, these tracks won’t be available anywhere else. Please do not share the information you enter in the registration questions with anyone.

Durante los conciertos de la gira de invierno de 2009, no verás solamente el fantástico concierto que ofrecerá Placebo y sus teloneros, si no que además tendrás la oportunidad de ver un Festival de Cortos que se proyectará antes del concierto y durante las salidas que haga el grupo del escenario en la pantalla principal de éste.

El Festival ShortsTV, comenzará en el concierto de Paris del 24 de Octubre, presentando el trabajo de 8 directores internacionales de gran talento, los cuales han sido seleccionados por Placebo. Estas películas pueden ser cortas en duración pero impactantes.

Presentados por ShortsTV, un canal de cortos, y Livewire Televisual, especialistas en videos de música en directo y TV, los 8 cortos competirán entre ellos y los fans de toda Europa estarán invitados a votar online, a su favorito, en la página oficial de Placebo en las próximas semanas. El ganador será anunciado al final de la gira.

During the Winter tour dates of 2009 you will not only be able to watch the incredible show by Placebo and supports, but will also get the chance to see a Short Film Festival that will be screened before the gig and during the artist changeovers on the mainstage screens.

The ShortsTV Film Festival, launches at the Paris show on 24th October, features the work of 8 highly talented international film makers, for which Placebo themselves shortlisted. These movies may be short in length but they’ll be big on impact.

Presented by ShortsTV, the short film channel, and Livewire Televisual, the live music video and TV specialist, the 8 short movies will be competing with one another and fans from across Europe will be invited to vote online for their favourite at Placebo’s website in the coming weeks. The winner will be announced at the end of the tour.
