A través de myspace Placebo han colgado el making of del video de ‘Bright Lights’.

‘Battle for the Sun’s’ 3rd single, ‘Bright Lights’, will be only released as a digital download and will be available on the 8th February.

Placebo han publicado un Calendario de Adviento en el cual irán añadiendo algunas sorpresas para los fans según vayan avanzando los días, hasta finalizar el día 24 de diciembre que será cuando añadan la sorpresa más grande. Para comenzar han añadido ya hoy, 1 de diciembre, el nuevo vídeo de su próximo single ‘Bright Lights’, en su nueva versión de la canción. Placebo have published an Advent Calendar in which they will be adding some surprises for the fans as the days move forward, and finally on 24th December they will add their biggest surprise to finish the calendar . To start with they have included today, the 1st December, the brand new video of their new single ‘Bright Lights’, in its new version. Placebo han confirmado que su próximo single será Bright Lights y que saldrá a finales de enero de 2010. La canción tendrá nuevos arreglos y nuevas voces en los coros, si tienes la suerte de verles tocando en la gira de invierno, podrás escuchar esta nueva versión de la canción con los nuevos arreglos. También habrá un video para el nuevo single.

Placebo has confirmed that their new single will be Bright Lights and it will be out in late January 2010. This song will have new arrangements and new backing vocals, and if you are lucky enough to see them playing in their winter tour you will get to listen this new version with the new arrangements. There will be also a new video for the single.

Por fin nos llega el primer single sacado de ‘Battle for the Sun’, será ‘For What It’s Worth’ y lo podremos escuchar por primera vez el lunes 20 de abril alrededor de las 7.00 pm -hora inglesa, 20.00 h en España- en el programa de radio de Zane Lowe de la Radio 1 inglesa.
La canción podrá descargarse a través de iTunes al día siguiente, martes 21 de abril, y según el myspace oficial en tantos países como sea posible, de momento serán UK, Belgium, Ireland, Italy y Netherlands y posiblemente añadan más. El nuevo vídeo se podrá ver en el myspace oficial también a partir del martes 21 de abril.

El single saldrá oficialmente el 1 de Junio en 7”, CD, y descarga digital, con una versión como cara B, que será el clásico “Wouldn’t It Be Good” de Nick Kershaw.

At last comes to us the first single taken from ‘Battle for the Sun’, it will be ‘For What It’s Worth’, and we will be able to listen to it for the first time on Monday 20th April around 7.00 pm on Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show.
The song will be available to download through iTunes the next morning, on Tuesday 21st April, and according to the official myspace in as many countries as possible, for now it will be in UK, Belgium, Ireland, Italy & Netherlands, and possibly even more. The new video will be on the official myspace from tuesday 21 April too.

The single will be realised officialy on June 1st also on 7”, CD and Digital Download, featuring a cover of Nick Kershaw’s classic, “Wouldn’t It Be Good” as the B-side.
