| 29/09/06 :: Concierto cancelado en Francia :: Show cancelled in France :: [info:Placeboworld ] Placebo ha cancelado el concierto de esta noche en Lille, Francia, debido a una fuerte amigdalitis que ha sufrido Brian Molko durante esta semana, Brian ha estado hospitalizado hasta ayer y los médicos le han ordenado descansar las siguientes 48 horas. El grupo espera poder oferecer el siguiente concierto que será en la misma ciudad el sábado, pero todo depende del estado de salud de Brian. El concierto de esta noche será pospuesto y todas las entradas servirán para la nueva fecha que se decida para Lille, los que quieran que se les devuelva el dinero tendrán que contactar con su punto de venta. Esto es decepcionante en particular porque era el primer concierto europeo de la gira de otoño. El grupo lamenta mucho tener que cancelar conciertos y saben lo decepcionante que es para los fans que han comprado las entradas con antelación y están esperando ansiosos por el concierto. Brian se siente desolado por todo esto y pide disculas a los fans. Estad atentos a Placeboworld por si hubiera más cambios. Desde Bionic enviamos nuestros mejores deseos a Brian para que se recupere pronto y bien. From Placeboworld: URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT - LILLE SHOW POSTPONED!! Placebo have had to postpone the first show of their arena tour in Lille this Friday night (29th September). Brian Molko came down with severe tonsillitis on Sunday night. He saw a specialist on Tuesday and was immediately admitted to hospital where he spent Tuesday and Wednesday night on an intravenous drip. Brian was released from hospital this morning (Thursday) and is under doctors orders to rest for 48 hours. His doctor has ruled out a show on Friday night. Brian is now fighting to be fit for Saturday's show in Lille. At present, we very much hope this show will go ahead and, subject to doctors ok, this is our intention Please check here for updates regarding any further necessary cancellations. Placebo very much regret having to cancel a show and are aware how disappointing this is for the fans who've bought tickets and have been waiting a long time to see the band. Brian is devastated at the timing of this illness and apologises to all the fans. |

She Wants Revenge will be Placebo's support band for the concerts next Autum in Germany. Steve Hewitt sufrío una caída ayer por la mañana en el autobús de la gira que le ha lesionado un brazo. El siguió adelante en el concierto de anoche pero esta mañana ha despertado con un gran sufrimiento. El médico que le ha atendido le ha ordenado 48 horas de completo reposo. La banda está desolada por tener que cancelar dichos conciertos y envía sus disculpas a todos los seguidores que han comprado entradas. Es un interesante libro con 120 imágenes que salió a finales de abril. El libro Guitar Eros se puede comprar a través de la web de fotógrafo al precio de 49,80€. Photographer Mondino has published a book in which he features the guitar as an aphrodisiac, sex symbol, and fetish of rock and pop, with players famous and unknown, Brian Molko among them. El concierto será en el Festival Internacional de Benicassim el domingo 23 de julio de 2006. El encuentro será el próximo martes 24 de Enero en la sala KOKO -1a Camden Road, London NW1 OJH- Los que quieran ir sólo tendrán que estar allí puntualmente a las 6:30 pm. Las puertas se cerrarán a las 7:30 pm. El grupo estará grabando el video para su nuevo single -UK- Because I Want You. La grabación podría durar hasta las 10 de la noche. El simple hecho de aparecer por allí les da derecho a grabarte y a utilizar tu imagen. Tienes que tener más de 16 años y tener un carnet de identidad que lo demuestre. El número de gente que pasará al interior de la sala será limitado, el que antes llegue más posibilidad tendrá de entrar. Se reservan el derecho de admisión. El album , aún sin título ha sido producido por Dimitri Tikovoi y remezclado por Flood, presentará 2 duetos, uno de ellos será el tema 'Meds' que contará con la voz de la cantante de The Kills, Alison ‘VV' Mosshart, y de la otra colaboración sólo hay rumores de que la voz la podría poner Michael Stipe de Rem.
